PURPOSE:To enable high speed plotting even in the case line width is changed by dividing specifically an image memory, designating the left upper corner and making access simultaneously to the continuous memories of one group in accordance with the designated line width. CONSTITUTION:A graphic controller 1 outputs an address for designating a coordinate and line width information for designating one of unmagnified width to four-fold width to a connecting line L1, and these coordinate address and line width information are inputted to address decoders 2-1 to 2-16 in each memory bank. Also, the graphic controller 1 sends out plotting data to a connecting line L2, and its plotting data is inputted to memories 3-1 to 3-16 of each memory bank. In this case, the address decoders 2-1 to 2-16 perform an address operation in each memory bank and the enable operation of the bank on the inputted address and line width information. |
