PURPOSE:To inform a receiver side of battery's life expiration of a reception remote control transmitter by making transmitting intervals of coordinate information different from that of a normal state by a control means when a voltage monitoring means detects a voltage drop down to a fixed voltage. CONSTITUTION:When a voltage drops due to service life expiration of a battery 1 while data is being transmitted, a power source monitoring part 5 detects it and a micro computer 2 widens the intervals between data by way of a timer routine. Getting in behind a transmission data, it is added to a trailer F and an interval F' which is twice or more as wide as F is obtained. Then, a light emitting part 4 emits light according to the signal from the micro computer 2. The receiving part of a VTR displays the information indicating that a battery requires replacement on the television screen in response to that. |
