<p>PURPOSE: To shorten the grounding path and prevent the loss of a signal by fixing a grounding shield having plate structure to the outer surface of a bounding, connected to a main printed circuit board at the bottom, and connected to the grounding part of a sub-printed circuit board at the top. CONSTITUTION: Grounding shields 34, 36 are made of a conducting material, its top part 42 is extended over a top part 23 of a housing 14, and a contact region is formed. A finger-shaped part 48 is formed by punching a shield in a middle part 46. When the finger-shaped part 48 is inserted into a contact chamber 26 of the housing 14, the finger-shaped part 48 is pressed into the chamber 26, and the shields 34, 36 are fixed to the housing 14. When a sub- printed circuit board 12 is inserted into a connector 10, a spring foot part 72 of an earthling part 60 comes in contact with a contact region 44. A main plate contact part 40 is connected to a main printed circuit board. A short grounding loop is established, and the loss of a signal caused by crosstalks is prevented.</p> |
