PURPOSE:To selectively alter a score and control characteristics of a musical sound by extremely easy pedal operation on a foot pedal, etc., at a player's pace without interrupting the performance of the electronic musical instrument. CONSTITUTION:A microcomputer 16 displays a corresponding score on a display device 4 according to score information stored in a score information storage device 3. If the foot pedal 10 is operated while a display changeover mode is selected with a pedal mode changeover switch 9 during the display, part or the whole of the score displayed on the display device 4 is altered and displayed. If the foot pedal 10 is operated while a musical sound control mode is selected with the pedal mode changeover switch 9, on the other hand, the characteristics of the musical sound to be generated are controlled. |
