摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To enable a followup processing after the judgment of an earthquake by reducing a load in a seismic processing system as a whole. CONSTITUTION:An input processing section 1 is connected normally to 50-100 seismometers, and it receives 60-100 items of amplitude data per second from each seismometer. A data extraction processing section 4 thins out the data delivered from the input processing section 1 to thirty to fifty to match characteristics of an earthquake to be observed. An earthquake generation judging processing section 2 compares the amplitude data thinned out with an amplitude data of background from a background calculation processing section 3 and determines that an earthquake occurs when the amplitude data inputted is larger than the amplitude data of the background to deliver the data of the seismometer to a followup processing in a seismic processing system. The background calculation processing section 3 is started before the generation of the earthquake, and inputs a data from which any seismic wave is determined with the earthquake generation judgment processing section 2 to determine the amplitude of the background using the data for 30min. to one hour at each seismometer.</p>
