PURPOSE:To prevent the reduction of the critical current at a connection section by surrounding the connection section of superconducting filaments with a melted stabilizing material, and quickly coagulating it. CONSTITUTION:Superconducting filaments 2 exposed when a stabilizing material is melted and removed are arranged in the groove section 1a of a substrate 1 made of pure copper. A melted metal 4 is injected from its upper section with a gun 3 by the gun method which is one of the splat cleaning method. The filament diameter, material of the melted metal 4, cooling temperature, heat capacity of the substrate 1, temperature of the melted metal, and spraying speed are properly set, and the melted metal 4 is quickly coagulated on the substrate 1 before the metallographical reaction between the filaments 1 and the melted metal 4 occurs. The critical current is not reduce and the design of a coil is facilitated. |
