The invention relates to a device for adjusting the friction between mechanical components in contact in appliances with fluid movement, of the type comprising a cylindrical hollow casing 14 closed by a cover 18 and filled with a lubricant liquid, and in which is rotationally mounted a rotor 20 in the form of a cylindrical dish having a small clearance with the walls of the casing. The rotor 20 has a skirt 21 whose internal cross-section narrows from its open end to its end wall 23. Into the rotor there fits coaxially a locking component 44 rotationally secured to the rotor and whose cross-section narrows in the same direction as the internal wall of the rotor, the said locking component being capable of moving axially with respect to the rotor and of being immobilised in an adjustable position more or less deeply inside the skirt by virtue of adjustable manual drive means 35, 42. <IMAGE> |
