<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a resistor of high reliability through which a large current can be made to flow when a printed resistor on a printed wiring board is subjected to laser light trimming. CONSTITUTION:Trimming is performed at an arbitrary angle to the current direction of a printed resistor 2 on the printed wiring board 3. Hence intervals between the end points of a plurality of trimming lines 4a, 4b are increased, and the absolute area where a current flows is kept large. Thereby the printed resistor 2 of high reliability can be obtained. In this case, trimming is enabled at an arbitrary angle to the current direction, by making the printed board fixing part of a laser trimming equipment to be used rotatably.</p> |
