PURPOSE:To reduce the breakage of the ceramic tire, by forming the key hole to fix the ceramic tire to the stepped pulley at the side plane of the ceramic tire and at the main body of the stepped pulley, both at the mutually corresponding position. CONSTITUTION:The stress concentration is prevented by installing the key hole in the ceramic tire at a position far from the inner and outer circumferences of the tire. For example, the ceramic tires 5a, ..., 5d, are inserted to the outer circumference of each step of the stepped pulley's main body 4 provided with four steps. The circumferential rotation of the first step tire 5a is stopped by inserting the key 8a into the key holes 6a, 7a, respectively installed in the tire 5a and the flange 4a of the stepped pulley 4 at mutually corresponding position. Other tires are similarly fixed to the pulley 4. Besides, all tires are clamped by the flange 4a and the push plate 9. The key hole 6a of the tire 5a is located far from both of the inner circumference 5ai and the outer circumference 5ao, and the key hole 6a is formed into a shape free from the corner edge, or is preferable to be formed into a circular arc. According to this constitution, the stress concentration is moderated, even if the large speed changing force is impressed, and the generation of the fissure is prevented. |
