In order to treat a lesion inside the body of a patient, two or three tubes (1, 13, 14) are engaged in one another. An outer tube (1) is intended to come into contact, in a fixed manner, with the body of the patient, an inner tube (13), likewise fixed, is intended to guide a laser light inside this patient. An intermediate tube (14) turning about the laser tube and inside the outer tube has, at its end, a lateral slot (15), or several thereof, as well as a reflecting device (16) which is inclined substantially by 45@. This reflecting device deflects the laser radiation and orients it perpendicular to the tube. By turning the intermediate tube about itself, the organ is scanned in a circular fashion and it is possible to reach the various parts. In order to reach the parts situated at different depths inside the organ, it is possible, quite simply, to displace only the intermediate tube in translation. It has been shown that this manner of operating is distinctly less painful for the patient and is, moreover, more ergonomic and, consequently, reduces the duration of the intervention. Furthermore, a two-way flushing system and an endoscope complete the equipment. <IMAGE>
