PURPOSE:To provide a battery separator inexpensive while improving safety of a battery. CONSTITUTION:A battery separator is used in a secondary battery having a composite metal oxide mainly composed of Li, Co as a positive electrode active material and a carbonaceous material as a negative electrode active material. The separator is a mixed unwoven cloth of polypropylene and polyethylene, and wt.% between polypropylene and polyethylene is to be selected from 0.1 to 9.0. |
