PURPOSE:To rub toner remaining on an image carrier after a toner image is transferred to a sheet down by a cleaner installed on the inlet part of a discarded toner recovering box, and to carry the discarded toner which is rubbed down to a discarded toner storage part installed on the side part of the discarded toner recovering box without heaping up the discarded toner on a carrying screw installed in the base part of the discarded toner recovering box. CONSTITUTION:The carrying screw 13 for carrying the discarded toner which is rubbed down by the cleaner 11 to the discarded toner storage part 12a installed on the side part of the discarded toner recovering box 12 is installed in the discarded toner recovering box 12 provided with the cleaner 11 for rubbing the toner remaining on the image carrier 10 after the transfer is completed, and the outside diameter of a fin 13a of the carrying screw 13 is made larger in accordance with the carrying direction, or the pitch of the fin 13a of the carrying screw 13 is made larger in accordance with the carrying direction, or the carrying screw 13 is inclined to the gravity direction in accordance with the carrying direction. |
