PURPOSE:To properly assist the judgement of a part to be noticed by storing correction information on an electronic document and visually outputting proper information together at a specified correction place according to the information. CONSTITUTION:A correction information DB(data base) 21, a correction information extraction part 22, and a correction information retrieval part 23 cooperate with an editing process part 13 and an output control part 16 to function to offer review assistance information. This device is actuated initially as an editor, but when some correction is required in subsequent editing operation, its correction information is automatically registered in the correction information DB 21. When there is a display request regarding review assistance information from a user through this editor, the document is displayed while the review assistance information based upon the correction information registered in the correction information DB 21 is displayed, namely, so that the correction place can visually be discriminated. Therefore, it can easily be judged which part of the document should be noticed and reviewed. |
