Device for controlling displacement, comprising at least two fluid actuators (10, 13) each one fed by a switch (16, 19). A control system (30, 42) makes it possible to place all the actuators simultaneously in a first or in a second extreme situation, for example extension or retraction and possibly to halt them, by manual control, in an intermediate position. The control system also makes it possible simultaneously to bring some of the actuators into an extreme situation, for example extension, and the other actuators into a different extreme situation, in order to produce an intermediate position which is clearly defined in advance. <IMAGE>
