PURPOSE:To recognize a moving object by extracting feature points at plural points of time, which is inputted from one image input part. CONSTITUTION:This device is provided with a feature point extracting part 16 extracting the feature point in the image inputted from the image input part 15 and a feature point storage part 17 storing the extracted feature point, and recognizes the motion of a moving object through the use of known position information of the feature point. Then, a shape/motion recognition means 18 calculating the actual position/motion of the feature point of an object from known position information of the two feature points of the object at the three points of time with same time intervals in the image taking the object moving on a plane surface while rotating in a fixed rotational speed in the vertical direction to a rotation axis is provided. Thus, the motion of the moving object can be recognized, the scale of the device can be small and a processing time can be shortened. |
