PURPOSE:To attain miniaturization, light weight, and low cost of an optical pickup device, CONSTITUTION:In an optical system in which a light from a semiconductor laser 11 is projected on an optical disk 20, curved glass plates 14 and 15 arranged to be inclined to an optical axis are provided between a collimate lens 12 and an objective lens 13. The radiating light emitted from the semiconductor laser 11 is condensed on the optical disk 20 by the optical system. A reflected light from the optical disk 20 is collimated by the objective lens 13 of the optical system, reflected and condensed by the curved glass plates 14 and 15, and received by photodetectors 21 and 22. A data reading signal, tracking error signal, and focusing error signal are prepared based on the output signals of the photodetectors 21 and 22. |
