PURPOSE:To provide the paper feeding device for the image forming device where generation of paper feeding failure can be prevented without the necessity to restrict the types of the fed recording paper or to reduce the speed of image formation and lowering of paper feeding efficiency is prevented by increasing the speed of paper feeding by preventing sticking of recording paper with each other by imparting time for natural discharge with greater paper feeding intervals in the case of the special recording paper which is easily electrified. CONSTITUTION:The device is provided with a special cassette to contain the special recording paper which is easily electrified, a second paper feeding mechanism 21 to feed the paper to an image forming part by extracting the special recording paper from this special cassette 23, and a detection member 25 detecting the loading of the special cassette 23, and a control means making the paper feeding intervals by the second paper feeding mechanism 21 greater and increasing the speed when the special cassette 23 is detected by this detection member 25. |
