PURPOSE:To provide a developing device not having problems that an image density is reduced and a fine line is not developed by sticking scattered toner on the outer peripheries of slip rings and a place where a photosensitive drum comes into contact with the slip rings and enlarging a developing gap. CONSTITUTION:This electrostatic charge image developing device is provided with an adjusting part for adjusting any of the light intensity of a light source, the charge intensity of an electrifier, the height of a bias voltage and the frequency of an AC bias voltage or the combination of them, a detecting means detecting an interval between a photosensitive body 4 and a developing sleeve 3 and an adjusting quantity instructing part 10 instructing an adjusting quantity for making a developing concentration constant to the adjusting part, according to the result of the detection of the interval, as a characteristic. Then, an electrostatic charge image measuring device having a cleaning means for removing toner stuck between the photosensitive body 4 and the slip rings 2a and 2b, as a characteristic, is provided. |
