PURPOSE:To easily control the carriage of a powder developing material and to prevent the transmission of a vibration to a developing device main body, on a developing device carrying the powder developing material by using a diaphragm. CONSTITUTION:An upper side diaphragm 4 and a lower side diaphragm 5 are arranged inside a developing unit 2, and vibration exciters 6a, 6b are attached to them, respectively. The phases of an attaching position for the unbalance mass 10 of both vibration exciters 6a, 6b is shifted by 180 deg., and the rotational directions of the motors of the vibration exciters 6a, 6b are reversed. Then, the developing material on the diaphragm 4 is carried to the side of the photosensitive body 1, and a residual developing material after development is returned up to a stirring rotor 3 by the diaphragm 5. The developing material on respective diaphragms 4, 5 soars up and moves in the rotational direction of a motor. On the other hand, both unbalance mass phases are opposite, so that when the vibrations by both vibration exciters 6a, 6b are transmitted to the developing device main body 2, mutual vibration is canceled and reduction of the vibration is achieved. |
