摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To enable omitting the use of a grounding conductor at a connection portion between a metallic vessel and an insulation spacer of the gas-insulated switching device, and to enable enhancing the long-term reliability. CONSTITUTION:In a device wherein a current-carrying conductor accommodated in a metallic vessel 1, in which an insulation gas is sealed, is supported by and fixed to an insulation spacer 3, the metallic vessel 1 and the insulation spacer 3 are connected together using a bolt made of a material having a higher conductivity than a ferrous material and having a linear expansion coefficient approximate to that of the material constituting the spacer 3. Since the induced current from the current-carrying conductor flowing into the metallic vessel of the device can be caused to flow into the high conductivity bolt connecting the metallic vessel and the insulation spacer, it is possible to omit the use of a grounding conductor. Besides, since the linear expansion coefficient of the spacer material and that of the bolt material are almost the same, it is possible to prevent the degradation in shaft force of the bolt due to variations in the ambient temperature. This enables ensuring the long-term reliability.</p>
