PURPOSE:To provide a multi-element magnetic head of high quality and high productivity, in which a glass packing quantity on the travelling face of a magnetic tape is reduced, resistance to wear and partial wear are remarkably improved and durability is rapidly raised. CONSTITUTION:The multi-element magnetic head is provided with a core in which a magnetic gap is held and a closed magnetic circuit is formed, a sealed block by which the core is enclosed, a sealed spacer arranged between the core and the sealed block and the glass material for bonding packed between the core and the sealed block and between sealed spacers. The head is constituted in such a manner that, on the side of the sealed spacer 9, at least one or more differences 10 of the surface level, grooved parts 12, recessed parts and swelled parts are formed. |
