PURPOSE:To attain exchange processing at a high speed with high efficiency by repeating fetch while being returned to a same address when a NOPT command is received. CONSTITUTION:When a timing command (NOPT command) stopping tentatively transmission or reception processing is received, the processing is returned to the same address again in a command area having stored the NOPT command and a signal is fetched. When the command is rewritten into other command than the NOPT command in the same address, the command is fetched and executed. That is, when a central processing unit gives once the NOPT command to a communication controller, it is not required to monitor the end of execution thereafter and a circulation loop of 'NOPT command' Yes 'return to same address and access' is looped at a high speed. When the command is rewritten without awaiting count-up, the loop is immediately escaped. |
