In the process, which can be continuous or cyclic, pelletised polymers are mixed with wood or wood based based material in granulated form. Controlled addition of the various ingredients is made according to the final desired properties of the product. Products are mfd. by pressing the mixt. at elevated temp. The plastics used may comprise standard houshold or trade waste, polyurethane foam, thermoset scap, PVC from cables or textile reinforced plastics or rubber.
