Technology of optical card having high data recording density, has a sensitising layer provided on the back of the optical recording portion so that a molten recording material may escape thereon at the time of writing; i.e. an optical card is obtained with good characteristcs in both resistance against environment and writability. The sensitising layer is composed of a self oxidising or a thermoplastic resin and an absorbing agent dispersed in the resin. The absorbing agent not only improves the writing characteristics in combination with the resin but also helps improve designing the card and readability. |
