Commissioning system for filed storage system - has displays for compartments and number of items operated in synchronism with transport or commissioning container

The commissioning system uses commissioning containers (5,6) displaced past the storage files (1,2) divided into successive commissioning zones (9a,9b,9c) with processor-controlled displays (10) for the commissioning compartments and the number of articles. The conveying system (4) has markings (11,12,13) for each commissioning zone (9a,9b,9c) for identifying each commissioning container (5,6), the latter being moved in synchronism with the compartment displays (10) within each commissioning zone (9a,9b,9c). Pref. the conveying system (4) uses a pick-band marked into successive zones acting as the commissioning containers (5,6). ADVANTAGE - Commissioning errors from personnel practically impossible.
