<p>A slam latch for a sliding or hinged cabinet door has a body formed from side and rear walls from which extends a flexible lower plate having a catch. The latch mounts in an aperture positioned so that the flexible lower plate extends beyond the edge of the door and over the edge of an adjacent panel to secure the two together.</p>
