摘要 The adjustment device is for a friction brake with mechanical tension arrangement for maintaining constant a fixed clearance space between the friction surfaces, the brakes being equipped with threaded spindles (2, 2") adjustable by axial rotation. It involves at least two interconnected wheels, of which one, the drive wheel (1), has a larger dia. than the driven wheels, for the purpose of enlargement of the rotary angle of the adjustable threaded spindles (2, 2"). A free run gear (3) is operated by a control lever (4) pivotable in a vertical plane, and the driven wheels (5, 5") are effectively connected to the adjustable threaded spindles (2,2") so that they are non-rotary but axially displaceable by positioning bolts (6, 6").
