Continuous application of fluid to material length - using filler chambers with pistons, sealed against sieve, and continuously adjustable

The fluid application device has a movable sieve, and opposite filler chambers on either side, extending across the width of the sieve. Doctor knives engage on either side on the sieve. A blower device with slit nozzle, extending across the width of the sieve, has an associated propellant supply. Each filler chamber (21,22) has pistons, which are sealed against the sieve (1). Each piston is continuously adjustable from one end of the filler chamber. The slit nozzle (5) has an associated sealing band which continuously seals the nozzle. Pistons and band are synchronously adjusted via the same distances. USE/ADVANTAGE - Continuous adjustment of fluid applicator to width of material length.
