One side of the bottle has a groove moulded up the length of the bottle to fit around the circular cross section bicycle frame. The inside of the groove is fitted with a grip strip (5) which adheres to a corresponding strip on the frame. A simple one handed operation fits the bottle and removes it. The grip can be by conventional grip strips or by interlocking mechanical grips. The flexible sides of the recess grip around the edges of the frame. Longitudinal location of the bottle can be via a stop fitted to the frame. USE/ADVANTAGE - Demountable fitting of drinking bottle to bicycle frame.
