<p>A pressure transducer circuit has a bridge arrangement of piezoresistors R3, R4, R5, R6 connected to a diaphragm sensitive to a pressure for monitoring. The bridge output passes to preamplifier 20 associated with an attenuation network 30 and compensation cicuitry 46. Temperature sensitive resistors R19, R24 within the compensation circuit 46 are produced simultaneously in the same manufacturing step as the bridge piezoresistors in the same semiconductor layer. Trimmable resistors in the transducer circuit are adjusted during calibration stage to compensate for temperature and component nonlinearity and eliminate the necessity of thermistors. <IMAGE></p> |
