<p>The safety device is intended to stop the motor driving a roller door or blind when the latter encounters an obstacle during its downward travel. It is of the type having a cord (7) following the displacement of the roller blind, for example by being wound over a pulley forming part of an information processing means (6). In order to prevent an encountered obstacle from causing the lower slat of the roller blind to tilt without the motor being immediately stopped, the end of the cord is attached at a fixed point (8) located on the other side of the roller blind and the cord passes over two return pulleys (9, 10) mounted near the ends of the lower slat (11). <IMAGE></p> |
