<p>The gear change device is provided on an automatic transmission of a motor vehicle and comprises a selector lever (3), which can be swivelled in two channels (6, 8). In the first channel (6) of the selector lever (3) various operating positions and automatically changing transmission gears can be selected via a transfer device (10). The selector lever (3) can be switched over into a second channel (8), in which by swivelling the selector lever (3) once from a middle position it is possible to change up or down one gear. So that the transfer device (10), from which the selector lever (3) is separated in the second channel (8), is held in its intended position, the transfer device (10) acts in concert with a locking device (13). <IMAGE></p> |
