The subject of the invention is an elastic and easily deformable junction in each corner of a heald frame formed by two battens (1) connected by means of two uprights (2). A clamping mechanism (3) is mounted elastically in a hollow profile (11) of the batten and comprises two outer jaws (33, 34) connected by means of a clamping screw (19). This screw allows a rapid blocking of a protuberance (12) of the upright between the jaws. These form the ends of two rigid pieces (17, 18) articulated on one another at mid-length and having opposite heads (23, 24) surrounded by an elastomeric element (27) in the hollow profile. When the jaws are clamped, the two heads move apart and ensure an elastic fastening in the hollow profile as a result of the compression of the elastomeric element which can be fastened to the batten (1) by means of rivets (37). The invention is used in the heald frames of ultrahigh-speed looms, especially with profiles made of composite materials. <IMAGE>
