An electrophotographic light-sensitive material comprising a support having provided thereon at least one photoconductive layer containing an inorganic photoconductive substance, a spectral sensitizing dye and a binder resin, wherein the binder resin comprises at least one resin (A) shown below and at least one resin (B) shown below. Resin (A): A starlike copolymer having a weight average molecular weight of from 1x10<3> to 2x10<4> and comprising an organic molecule having bonded thereto at least three polymer chains each containing a polymer component (a) corresponding to a repeating unit represented by the following general formula (I): <CHEM> (wherein a<1> and a<2> each represents a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a cyano group or a hydrocarbon group; and R<1><1> represents a hydrocarbon group) and a polymer component (b) containing at least one polar group selected from -PO3H2, -SO3H, -COOH, <CHEM> (wherein R<1> represents a hydrocarbon group or -OR<2> (wherein R<2> represents a hydrocarbon group)) and a cyclic acid anhydride-containing group, wherein the content of the polymer component (a) is not less than 30% by weight and the content of the polymer component (b) is from 1 to 20% by weight, Resin (B): A resin having a weight average molecular weight of from 3x10<4> to 1x10<6> and containing not less than 30% by weight of a polymer component corresponding to a repeating unit represented by the following general formula (III): <CHEM> wherein c<1> and c<2> each represents a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a cyano group or a hydrocarbon group; X<2> represents -(CH2)rCOO-, -(CH2)rOCO-, -O- or -CO- (wherein r represents an integer of from 0 to 3); and R<1><3> represents a hydrocarbon group. The electrophotographic light-sensitive material exhibits excellent electrostatic characteristics (particularly, under severe conditions) and mechanical strength and provides clear images of good quality. It is suitable for producing a lithographic printing plate. Also, it is advantageously employed in the scanning exposure system using a semiconductor laser beam.
