CONTROL DEVICE FOR ELEVATOR

PURPOSE:To prevent a confining accident of passengers and surely interrupt the travel command of an elevator by interrupting the travel command of the elevator when a cage travels a fixed distance after a limit switch is operated in the elevator having the limit switch at the final floor. CONSTITUTION:A detection section 21 detects the action state of a limit switch and the travel distance of an elevator from an elevator tower 24, it starts to measure the travel distance and travel time after a cage reaches the action point of the limit switch, and it sends the measured values to a comparison section 22. The comparison section 22 compares the measured values with preset values, and it sends a travel command interrupting signal to a controller 23 when either one of the measured values exceeds the preset value due to the abnormality of the elevator. The controller 23 limits the travel of the elevator according to the command of the comparison section 22, and it prevents the cage from being brought into contact with the final limit switch and a buffer.
