摘要 PURPOSE:To simply deactivate catalyst in the title in a short time without losing cyclododecatriene by trimerizing butadiene using a Ziegler-Natta catalyst and then adding a mixture liquid obtained by adding water to a specific compound to the reaction system. CONSTITUTION:1,3-Butadiene is trimerized in an inert solvent such as benzene using a Ziegler-Natta catalyst (e.g. mixed catalyst of TiCl4) and diethylaluminum sesquichloride) to afford cyclododecatriene-1,5,9. Then a mixed liquid in which a compound (e.g. THF, trimethylamine, pyridine, etc.) capable of forming an addition product with an organometallic aluminum existing in a mixture after completion of the reaction is finished is mixed with water is added to the reaction mixture to deactivate the catalyst. The compound capable of forming the addition product with the organometallic aluminum is preferably used at an amount 0.2-1 times by mol as much as the catalyst and an amount of water used simultaneously with the compound is preferably 3.3-10 times by mol as much as the catalyst.
