PURPOSE:To provide manganese-zinc based ferrite having improved iron loss, e.g., at about 500 kHz frequency or above. CONSTITUTION:This manganese-zinc based ferrite contains 51.5-54.5mol% Fe2O3, 33-40mol% MnO and 6-13mol% Zn0 as basic components and further contains oxides of Si, Ca, Nb, Ti and Sn in the basic components by 0.005-0.035wt.%, 0.02-0.20wt.%, 0.01-0.08wt.%, 0.05-0.65wt.% and 0.005-0.50wt.% (expressed in terms of SiO2, CaO, Nb2O4, TiO2 and SnO2), respectively. |
