PURPOSE:To improve magnetic characteristics by oxidizing and burning an aqueous solution of a nonvolatile organic compound and ZnO or a compound to produce ZnO and an aqueous solution of a mixture of an iron chloride and a chloride of one or more metals from Mn, Ni and Mg. CONSTITUTION:ZnO or a compound such as ZnCO3 to become ZnO by heating is blended and dispersed into an aqueous solution of a nonvolatile organic compound such as aqueous solution of PVA to prepare a slurry. The slurry is blended with an aqueous solution of a mixture of an iron chloride such as FeCl2.4H2 O and a chloride such as MnCl2.4H2O of one or more metals selected from the group consisting of Mn, Ni and Mg so as to make metal components have a given weight ratio. Then the mixed aqueous solution is oxidized and burnt by a spray burning furnace kept at 600-900 deg.C while preventing scattering of Zn to give a raw material for soft ferrite. A slurry test specimen 2 prepared by blending ZnO with the aqueous solution of PVA has extremely smaller Zn reduction ratio in burning than a slurry test specimen 1, prepared by blending ZnO with water, does. |
