PURPOSE: To obtain an inexpensive and durable vibratory compactor which is movable back and forth by providing a changeover mechanism which is rapidly transferable and simplified. CONSTITUTION: Two shafts 9a, 9b having an eccentric weight respectively are provided in a frame 2. The drive shaft 16 of a power source 12 and these shafts 9a, 9b are connected by belts 18, 19 so that the rotational directions are reverse to each other. The belts 18, 19 are connected to the drive shaft 16 through a clutch 1 and the drive force is selectively transmitted to either the shaft 9a or the shaft 9b through the clutch 17. The clutch 17 can be changed over by the rotational motion of a hand lever 49. |
