PURPOSE:To obtain the title lightweight molded article useful for interior material, etc., having excellent strength and high rigidity by molding a specific composition into a sheetlike state at a temperature not to decompose a blowing agent, lining one side of the molded sheet with a backing material integrating into one body, crosslinking, foaming under heating and processing. CONSTITUTION:A composition for molding a foamable sheet comprising (A) 100 pts.wt. propylene-based resin composed of a propylene block copolymer, (B) 0.01-0.1 pt.wt. radical generating agent, (C) 0.1-5 pts.wt. crosslinking auxiliary such as divinylbenzene and (D) 2-5 pts.wt. blowing agent such as azodicarbonamide is molded into a sheetlike state at a temperature not to decompose the blowing agent, one side of the molded foamable sheet is lined with a backing material such as woolly nylon or laminated to a skin material having function as a packing material and integrated into one body. The foamable sheet is irradiated with preferably 2-10 KGy ionizing radiation such as cobalt 60, crosslinked, expanded by heating and simultaneously molded and processed to give the objective molded article. |
