F.6105 FLEXIBLE COIL CONSTRUCTION FOR ELECTROMAGNETIC TREATMENT OF AN AFFLICTED BODY REGION The invention provides a thin, flexible, comfortably wearable coil for use in electromagnetic therapy of body tissue. The coil comprises plural turns of a single coil in radially spiralling adjacency and by forming all turns from the same single length of bunched multiple strands of flexible insulated conductors of equal gauge. First and second connections for lead-cable connection to a signal generator are each made to all strands at the respective ends of the coil, and axially flexible means retains the radial adjacency of the turns of the coil. |
