PURPOSE:To obtain a vertically opened window for an automobile or the like in which the glass ceases to move when touching the member. CONSTITUTION:A touch sensor 1 is provided at the porsion where the frame 4 contacts the glass 5. When the touch sensor 1 contacts the member, the switch is turned off to stop the movement of the glass 5. In this way, such dangers as one's body is nipped can be prevented and subtle adjustments of the glass can be realized.
