<p>PURPOSE:To provide a piston reciprocating type compressor having a valve structure with small pressure loss and rare occurrence of noise and damage. CONSTITUTION:A rotary valve 22 is provided which operates along with reciprocating motion of each piston, having valve functions of both suction and discharge. To prevent refrigerant gas blow-through between suction/discharge paths 25, 27 engraved on the even periphery of the rotary valve 22 via a communication path 21, the communication timing of a suction path 25 for the communication path 25 is delayed by the time of re-expansion of refrigerant gas staying in the top portion of the bore. Stable valve functions are thus exhibited and the occurrences of noise and valve damage are also eliminated. The pressure loss due to suction delay is reasonably compensated for.</p> |
