PURPOSE:To provide a direction aligner of a crystal plate of simple structure, that does not need auxiliary process such as chamfering, at low manufacturing cost. CONSTITUTION:A direction aligner of a crystal plate is composed of a parts feeder 1 for feeding a crystal plate 6, a light source for radiating light on a crystal plate feeding route by the parts feeder 1, a light receiving device 13 for receiving the light that passed the crystal plate feeding route, a light source side polarizing device 10 arranged between the light source 9 and the crystal plate feeding route, a light receiving side polarizing plate 11 arranged between the light receiving device 13 and the crystal plate feeding route, and of an air nozzle 3 for discharging the crystal plate 6 fed along the crystal plate feeding route, out of the crystal plate feeding route. The output of the light receiving device 13 is compared with a predetermined threshold, so as to judge appropriateness of the direction of the crystal plate 6, and if it is not appropriate, the air nozzle 3 is operated so as to blow the crystal plate 6 away from the feeding route. |
