发明名称 METHOD FOR SIMULTANEOUSLY REMOVING CARBONYL SULFIDE AND CARBON MONOXIDE CONTAINED IN PROPYLENE
摘要 PURPOSE:To inexpensively and simultaneously remove carbonyl sulfide and carbon monoxide contained in propylene by treating carbonyl sulfide and carbon monoxide under specific conditions. CONSTITUTION:Carbonyl sulfide and carbon monoxide contained as impurities in propylene are brought into contact with a complex oxide catalyst consisting of copper oxide and zinc oxide at 0-80 deg.C under 2-50kg/cm<2> pressure for several minutes to several hours while keeping propylene in a liquid state. The complex oxide catalyst is composed of 20-80 pts.wt. CuO and 80-20 pts.wt. ZnO. When the propylene purified by simultaneously removing COS and CO is used as a raw material for producing a polymer such as polypropylene, propylene- ethylene copolymer or ethylene or propylene rubber, raw material for producing acrylic acid or phenol, etc., it is made possible to remarkably reduce final product cost of polypropylene, etc., because poisoning of a catalyst is little.
