发明名称 METHOD FOR FORMING CUTTINGS OF HIGH-MELTING-POINT ACTIVE METAL AND ITS ALLOY
摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To easily reclaim the cuttings of high-m.p. active metal with a simple process by crushing and cleaning the cuttings, compacting the crushed material in a capsule to a specified sp.gr., deaerating, tightly closing and then compression-molding the material. CONSTITUTION:The cuttings of a high-m.p. active metal (Ti, Zr, etc.) or its alloy are crushed to pieces having about 5-25mm length, and the pieces are cleaned, packed in a capsule and compressed by a press to >=50% of the true sp.gr. The compressed material is deaerated, the capsule is tightly closed, the material is compression-molded by hot isostatic pressing, and then the capsule is removed to obtain a base stock. The cuttings are recycled as the base stock in this way with a simple process, with a low consumption of energy and irrespective of the compounding manner of the raw material.</p>
