<p>PURPOSE:To decrease a dead space for changing direction at a corner part and the like at the time of conveying a long size member. CONSTITUTION:Truck frames 5a, 6a having wheels for travelling on rails 1, 2 orthogonally crossing each other are arranged, and provided with turnable loading platforms 5a, 6b respectively. Both the loading platforms 5b, 6b are integrally connected via a connecting rod 11 and a joint 12, and a steel member 13 is stretchedly loaded on both the platforms 5b, 6b. When the forward truck frame 5a is placed on a turntable 3, the turntable 3 is turned to turn the frame 5a. Traveling is continued and, when the rear truck frame 6a is placed on the turntable 3, the frame 6a is turned in the same way. With this constitution, conveyance of a long size member can be conducted without transferring the steel member at the corner nor without changing the direction thereof with a large turning fadius.</p> |
