PURPOSE:To obtain a peptide or its salt useful as a medicine, etc., having specific reactivity and high bonding ability to endothelin. CONSTITUTION:A peptide (arbitrarily isolated or protected at N end or C end or both) which has integrity to endothelin and is selected from a group of peptides having a continuous sequence of four or more amino acids of amino acid sequences of formula I or formula II and a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof such as tetrapeptide of formula III. The peptide, for example, is synthesized by using Fmoc-Pro-Pep Syn KA resin column (Fmoc is 9- fluorenylmethyloxycarbonyl) as a solid phase by a peptide synthetic device of 9,050 type by Fmoc-polyamide method. |
