PURPOSE:To dissolve wet discharge or defect discharge by inexpensive and tiny constitution, by a method wherein a power source of a conveying device of a material to be recorded is used in common as a power source of a discharge restoring device and necessity of restoring treatment is discriminated at the time of starting of the power source, through which a movement of a recording device is controlled. CONSTITUTION:When a pair of conveying rollers 6, 7 are tuned by performing driving control of a conveyor motor 10, a material 1 to be recorded is conveyed to a pair of paper discharge rollers 12, 13 while it is being supported by a platen 11. Then a carriage 21 on which a recording device 2 is loaded is moved along a guide rail 20 which is penetrated into this bearing part 22. Furthermore, a restoring device 28 dissolving defective discharge of a discharge port is arranged in the rear of a suction port 27 comprised of a cap closing up the discharge port of the recording device 2. In this case, a suction pump in the restoring device 28, which is not illustrated is driven by gears 29, 30 through tuning force of a conveying and driving roller 6. Then at the time of starting of the conveyor motor 10, necessity of driving of the restoration device 28 is discriminated and a movement of the carriage 27 is controlled. |
