PURPOSE:To cut laver without applying grinding force to the laver by supplying laver together with water using a pump and cutting with a cutting knife fixed to a disk through an arm while discharging the laver from a perforated cylinder. CONSTITUTION:A mixture of laver and water is transferred with a pump and the laver is cut with a rotary cutting knife 10 while being extruded from a perforated cylinder 5 by the application of centrifugal force. No grinding force is applied to the laver during the introduction, extrusion and cutting stages and, accordingly, the quality lowering of the product caused by the high pressure and the lowering of the yield caused by the grinding action can be prevented compared with conventional laver cutting machine. |
